IFC Certification Ltd is a UKAS accredited and internationally recognised provider of high quality customer focused independent third party certification. IFC Certification Ltd is also a Notified Certification Body for certificating products for CE Marking under the Construction Products Directive.

UL
UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories, an organization that has been around for more than 100 years. UL is a world leader in product safety testing and certification. UL sets standards for different product categories and tests products to make sure they meet the standards.

The Warnock Hersey Mark (WH) is North America’s leading product safety and performance mark for building and construction products.

The ETL Mark is proof of product compliance (electrical, gas and other safety standards) to North American safety standards. CE Marking is required for harmonised construction products by the Construction Products Regulations (CPR).

Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) was developed as an umbrella body to give confidence to Buyers that their suppliers have been assessed to the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 as well as the SSIP core criteria.
Acclaim Accreditation supports the objectives of SSIP to improve health and safety standards across the UK and reduce duplication of paperwork in procurement.

Builder’s Profile Membership
The PAS91 PQQ standard was commissioned by Government and developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI) with the objective of streamlining and lowering the cost of prequalification in construction procurement processes. PAS91 does this by defining a standard construction industry PQQ set. What Builder’s Profile service and PAS91 question-set does, is allow contractors and subcontractors to collaborate more effectively by sharing information efficiently. This reduces the need for suppliers to complete multiple PQQs by around 80%.

The scheme provides a health and safety audit service for contractors who want to reassure their clients that health and safety is being handled correctly and sufficiently on their sites. SafeContractor has 28,000 accredited members and over 370 major clients.
